All items are handmade to order. Once payment is received, your items will be made within 3-5 business days (excluding holidays). You will receive an email from The Sassy Damsel, LLC when your order is done and has been mailed, stating that your order is "Shipped". From there the order will arrive, based on USPS first class business shipping times, in approximately 3-5 business days.

The Sassy Damsel, LLC considers orders exceeding 20 items as wholesale. Wholesale order processing time will depend on the order volume. Please be sure to contact us in advance of placing the wholesale order to discuss order size and needs, at which time we will estimate how long it will take to process the order.

How will my order be shipped/How long will it take to ship?

The Sassy Damsel, LLC purchases Delivery Confirmation on each domestic shipment. This provides us with delivery confirmation of the order. Please ensure accurate, complete shipping information is provided at check out. We are not responsible for items lost due to incorrect address information.

Do you ship Internationally?

What type of payments do you accept?

The Sassy Damsel, LLC accepts payments made by PayPal, which include major credit cards, PayPal Balance Transfers, and bank account transfers. PayPal never shares your financial information with merchants. Please note, your order will not be filled until payment is received.

Can I place a phone order?

Can I pick up an order if I am local?

No, unfortunately we do not have a "store", we are strictly web-based sales.  If you live in our neighborhood or have made arrangements for an order to be delivered locally via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Can my order be shipped as a gift/gift wrapped?

Orders are shipped in a new shipping box packed with paper. If it is a hair accessory, it will have a bow board as well. There is a $4.00 charge for gift packaging, and only hair accessories can be gift packaged. Our gift packaging includes hair accessories on bow boards inside clear cellophane bags with fill, and a bow. Please make note of the gift wrapping request in the comments box at check out.

How do custom orders work?

Do you accept returns?

Because each item is hand made to order, and is worn in the hair, we do not accept returns. The order is unique to the buyer, and to ensure the safety of our products cannot be resold.

What kind of hardware do you use/How are the clips made?

For Infant Clips, we use fully lined 1.5 inch snap clips. All other clips are single prong 1 ¾ inch metal alligator clips and are partially lines. You can add, at no additional cost, a No-Slip Hair Grip which will help hold even the finest baby hair. Alligator clips can be worn directly in the hair or clipped to piggy tails, onto headbands, etc. All ends are heat sealed to prevent fraying, and hand-sewn. All embellishments are hot-glued securely. Where noted, French Barrette Clips are metal 2 ¼ inch clips. 

**PLEASE NOTE** while we use latex free materials, our Pony Tail collection is stitched onto standard hair elastics.  We do carry latex free hair ties but unfortunately we cannot attach the bows, streamers, or korker streamers, in a sturdy fashion, to these unique latex-free hair ties.  You can purchase any of our hair accessories (which use latex free hardware such as alligator clips or french barrettes), and clip the accessory to the latex-free pony tail/piggy tail.  If you require latex-free ties be included in your order, please message me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and I will include them in your package.  If you need something more custom for your latex-free pony tail needs that does not include hardware such at the clips, please message me and I would be happy to create custom streamers, korkers, or bows that would simply ties around the ponytail holder.

How do the no-slip grips work?                                                                                      

Simply mark "Yes" in the drop down box on bows that can have no-slip grips added and we will include the necessary number of grips in your order.  They will be taped to the back of a business card in your order box.  Simply peel one grip off, and place it on the top portion of the inside of the lines alligator clip!  It will help hold the hair in place with the clip

Will my product look exactly as pictured online?

We try to make sure each accessory the same as the last, however since they are hand made there may be slight variations. Also keep in mind that images viewed on the computer have varying color resolutions, and colors or prints may vary by their actual color or print in person

Do you have a catalogue?

No, we do not have printed catalogues.
